Quick, easy, and very tasty – a great choice for a busy weeknight, and can be scaled up easily to feed a larger group. Chicken thighs also help keep costs down, and come out very juicy and tender.
This dish uses a cooking technique called “sheet baking”, which is nothing more than using a large baking sheet rather than a casserole dish. It’s a good choice if you’re preparing items like meats or vegetables that don’t involve lots of sauces. It’s especially handy if you’re cooking a larger quantity to feed a crowd for a family get-together or party.

Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 425 F. Line a large baking pan with aluminum foil.
-
Lay the chicken thighs on the baking pan so they are flat and pieces do not overlap.

In a bowl, mix all remaining ingredients thoroughly to make a glaze. Spoon 2/3 of the glaze evenly over the chicken. Do not cover chicken with foil.
-
Bake for 20 minutes, then remove pan from the oven. Set oven to broil on High and move rack closer to elements if needed (6-8 inches).
-
Baste chicken with pan juices, then spoon remaining glaze on top.
-
Place back in oven and broil 7-10 minutes or until the glaze on the chicken has caramelized.
-
Remove from oven and allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.
