Cheesy Tomato Ground Beef and Rice

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare the instant rice according to package directions.

  2. In a large frying pan over medium-high, heat cook the ground beef and diced onion until the meat is browned. Drain off any fat.

  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add cooked rice, corn, tomato soup, milk, salt, pepper, minced onion and chives. Stir until well blended.

  4. Simmer for 10 minutes, then add 2 cups of Cheddar cheese and stir until melted.

  5. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top without stirring. Allow cheese to melt, then serve.
