Ingredients
  • 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed (15 oz)
  • 2 cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed (15.8 oz)
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed (15.25 oz)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 3/4 cups ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 pound bacon (cooked and cut into bite size pieces)
  • 2 pounds kielbasa (cut into bite size pieces)
Instructions
  1. In a 6 quart or larger slow cooker, add all ingredients except the kielbasa and stir gently to combine.

  2. Place the kielbasa on top of the mixture and cover with the lid.

  3. Cook on Low setting for 6-8 hours or on High for 4-5 hours. Stir in the kielbasa before serving.

Notes
  • Cooking on Low is preferred because the beans will tend to dry out on High.
  • If cooking on High due to time constraints, monitor and add more chicken broth or water as needed to prevent the beans from drying out.
