Notes
- Lean ground beef or ground turkey can be substituted for the ground pork
- The frozen peas were not included in the original recipe posting and may be omitted
- Mild, medium, or sharp Cheddar may be used
- Other cheese may be substituted including provolone, Gruyere, and Swiss
- The original recipe posting called for 24 oz of tater tots, but I found I needed 32 oz to cover the top of the dish. Reducing to this amount would decrease the calories per serving from 775 to 720.
- The original recipe also indicated this dish made only 6 servings, which would have been over 1030/960 calories per serving depending on the amount of tater tots used.
