Preheat oven to 375 F.
Cook bacon in a large pan over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon to drain on a paper towel (leaving the grease in the pan), then chop into fine pieces.
Add the onions to the bacon grease and cook 3-4 minutes or until soft. Remove from the pan and discard the grease.
In a large bowl combine the beef, pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, cheese, salt, and the cooked bacon and onions. Mix gently with your hands until well combined.
Pour the mixture on a baking sheet with a rimmed edge or into a large casserole dish. Shape the mixture into a loaf, pressing firmly to keep the ingredients together.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. While it is cooking, whisk together the ketchup and Ranch dressing in a small bowl and set aside.
At the end of cooking, remove the pan from the oven. Pour the ketchup mixture over the loaf, covering it evenly. Return it to the oven and cook for 10 more minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the loaf rest for 5 minutes before serving.
